6 stops from Sydney to Brisbane

 

This week we’re looking at the classic drive between Sydney and Brisbane, which is littered with attractions and destinations. We’ll take you on a journey north up the coast from Sydney and build you a journey itinerary to Brisbane that ends with a bang.

There are 900 kms of coastal road separating Brisbane and Sydney containing arguably the biggest and best sights in Australia. Valleys, beaches, towns and history are waiting for you along the way.

Crystal Castle and Shambhala Gardens

 

 

 

 

 

 

Just two hours away from Coffs lies Byron Bay,

a laid back town with a hippie reputation. It has a

host of surrounding national parks (Boatharbour

Nature Reserve and Nightcap National Park among

them). A must-see is the Crystal Castle and Shambhala

Gardens for fantastic crystal displays and sculptures.

Last but far from least, The Gold Coast awaits.

Once of the top Australian travel

destination, The Gold Coast is home to many theme

parks and a beautiful beach, this is a great last stop

if you’re driving FROM Sydney with holidays on your

mind. Don’t just spend your whole time in queues

at the parks though. You can also enjoy surf

schools or visit the nearby Currumbin for its wildlife Sanctuary and nature bridge and

rainforest ciricuit.
